Abigail Head is a soubrette soprano dedicated to telling stories honestly and dynamically through song. She aims to draw audience members into the stories she is telling whenever she is on stage. Recent roles include Evangeline Barley (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Despina (Cosi fan tutte), Anne Egerman (A Little Night Music), and Suor Osmina (Suor Angelica). In fall of 2022, Abigail premiered Down the Rabbit Hole, a one act opera based on Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, for which Abigail wrote the libretto and directed the production.

When not performing, Abigail enjoys teaching voice lessons and working with friends and colleagues on performance practice. Helping students to effectively tell stories while maintaining healthy vocal technique is one of her goals in every lesson. As a singer, a teacher, and a director, Abigail keeps Bach’s signature in mind: Soli Deo Gloria. To God alone be the glory.
